"Together we can face any challenges as deep as the ocean and as high as the sky."
We were matched on e-Harmony in 2010. I was close to turning 31 and he had just celebrated his 29th birthday. We had both waited a long time for God to bring our spouse to us and even this many years later, you'll hear us say time and again that it was well worth the wait.
We're both creatives, we're both entrepreneurs, we're both introverts, we both love people, our daughters and, above all else, our Creator.
My hope is that the couples I meet and have the chance to work with will know how much I value their relationship over their wedding day. While that one day is very important (it's the day you begin your life together!!), it's your marriage that I care most about!
These two have only known each other since February of 2017 when Isa (pronounced Eesa) was born, but Catherine adores her baby sister and Isa lights up when her big sister is around! They bring us so much joy and laughter with their squeals and giggles that only multiply as they're beginning to react to each other and "play" together!
There was an Instagram post I saw a while back that said, "You can't make everyone happy, you aren't a jar of Nutella." And it's SO true. I love all things Nutella, especially when it comes on a piping hot crêpe from a street vendor in Paris!
My husband is a foodie and when we travel to new places, I generally take care of the itinerary while he finds the restaurants for us to try. It works out really well this way because his tastes are far more sophisticated than mine, which means we're almost always bound to be faced with delicious cuisine - or at least a good story!
But mainly so I can eat all the Nutella and wedding cake! Working out has almost always been a part of my life because I know what it's like to lose someone close to you because of an unhealthy lifestyle. I may not win any competitions, but I will stay in shape, showing my girls another area of life where hard work can pay off (and those slices of wedding cake can be enjoyed guilt free!).
